Houston has one of the highest rates of amputation in the country.  This is just plain wrong.  The advances in care for peripheral diseases have made it possible for vessels to be cleaned out, saving feet and legs.  Unfortunately many physicians don’t want to take the time to either learn these techniques or use them correctly.   Dr. Davis makes every effort possible to enhance blood flow to a patient’s limbs, relieving leg pain and allowing healing of long term wounds and ulcers.  Amputation is only a last resort.

Our goal is to diagnose arterial blockages in the early stages so that patients don’t have to go through years of pain or suffering.  Dr. Davis is working with primary care physicians, podiatrists and the Diabetes Association to refine the process of early recognition of potentially serious arterial disease.
